Donations to Organization

Since inception, Shantidoot is working on different aspects of development and welfare of society with the support of various govt,/non-govt., private agencies and individuals.

General Donation Policy

The organization is registered under Income Tax Registration Act 12A and 80G.

The organization accepts donation only through cheque or bank draft. Money receipt is given for all money received as donation. If donation is received in cash, due to unavailability of bank, the amount received is deposited in bank and expended for program purposes. Cash donation of more than Rs. 20,000/- (Twenty thousand) is not accepted, in any case.

Donation in kind is received after its value fixation by an evaluator. It is included in the asset if it can be used in programmes or activities of the organization. If the donation, in kind, is not useful for any programme purposes, it can be sold/auctioned after evaluation and the amount is deposited in the bank.

If you feel that our effort, in any way, would help the cause of social development, you may contribute by way of donation to the organization/any of its particular programme or directly sponsoring any programme beneficiary.

You may contribute to –

Corpus Fund – Utilized for infrastructural development of the organization like purchase of land, building construction, etc.

Development Fund – Utilized for programmes/activities organized without any agency’s support or for incurring expenditure related to activities, in support of a sanctioned project.

Professional Education – Utilized to promote and develop professional/technical/vocational educational or training institutions.

Sponsorship – Direct support to a programme, project activity or beneficiary (singly or in group) like support to an HIV+ person or children, his/her family or a drug addict or support an SC/Minority/Disabled child for education/school dress/books & stationery, etc.
